1. Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

Collection

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. When you use our Services, we collect the following types of information from and about you. Professional or Employment-related and Education Information: You may submit an application, resume or C.V. via email to our Vice President of Sales & Marketing. To process your application for a position, we may also obtain information about you from outside sources. Where you submit information on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have made that person aware of how we may collect, use and disclose their information, the reason you have provided it, how they can contact us, the terms of this Privacy Policy and that they have consented to such collection, use and disclosure.

3. SMS Consent and Opt-Out

By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS messages from DonorBureau regarding service updates, news and offers.

Opt-In: By providing your phone number and checking the opt-in box on our website, you expressly consent to receive SMS text messages from DonorBureau. Your consent is not a condition of purchase or use of our services.

Message Frequency: Message frequency may vary depending on campaigns or events.

Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier. DonorBureau is not responsible for any charges incurred by your carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opt-Out: You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any of our messages. This will immediately unsubscribe you from our text messaging list. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.

4. Choices for Access, Deletion, Opt-Out of Sale, and Right to Non-Discrimination for California Residents or As Required By Law

To do so, please complete the webform in DonorBureau's Privacy Portal, email us at CCPA@donorbureau.com, or call 703-863-7772. Account-holders can request access to their personal information at any time by logging into their accounts on the Services. In response, we will produce an Access Report detailing the personal information we have collected, disclosed, and/or sold about you. This Access Report will be delivered by mail or electronically at your request.
How to Request Deletion of Personal Information: You may request to delete the personal information it has collected and/or maintained about you. Note, we may need to retain certain personal information as permitted by law, such as to complete the transaction for which the personal information was collected, provide a requested good or service, detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent or illegal activities, comply with legal obligations or to enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with your expectations or lawful within the context in which you provided the information.
How to Opt-Out of the Sale of Personal Information: You may opt-out of the sale of your personal information as defined by the CCPA. We also offer an opt-out from the use of cookies and other tracking technologies in connection with our Services, which may in some cases constitute the sale of your personal information under the CCPA or other privacy laws. To opt-out of the sale of your personal information, please click I am A California Resident – Do Not Sell My Personal Information or fill out this webform at DonorBureau's Privacy Portal. This will cause the information to cease to be added to any cookies or other tracking technologies that have been set on our Services or block them entirely. Please note that you will need to opt-out again if you visit one of our Services from a different device or browser or if you clear your cookies.
Verification: Please note, we will take steps to verify your identity before fulfilling any of the above requests. If you maintain an account with us, we will verify your identity through existing authentication practices for the account (e.g., login and password). If you are not a registered member, we will verify your identity by matching two or three data points that you provide with data points that we maintain and have determined to be reliable for the purposes of verification (e.g., browser or device ID).
Authorized Agents: You can use an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf. But we may require the agent to provide written permission and verify his/her identity or demonstrate that he or she has power of attorney in connection with a request for access or deletion.
Anti-Discrimination Right: You have the right to be free from discrimination in product quality, goods, or services if you choose to exercise your privacy rights under the CCPA.
Do Not Track Signals: DonorBureau does not respond to Do Not Track signals to the extent received from a web browser.

5. Your Access to and Control Over Information

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy. Changes to our privacy policy will be identifiable based on the date provided at the top of this document. You may opt-out of any future contacts from us at any time. Please note, you may not opt-out of administrative emails (for example, emails about your transactions or policy changes) for your registered account.

You also may contact us directly to have your record removed entirely from our current databases. This is a voluntary action intended as a customer service and we reserve all legal rights when voluntarily removing the record.

You can contact us directly at optout@donorbureau.com and provide your full name and address to request that your record be removed from our files. Be aware that if you move or change your name, you will need to opt-out again with your new address or name.

We take precautions to protect your information by maintaining reasonable technical, physical, and administrative security measures designed to help protect the security of your personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to our third-party processing servers (either PayPal or Amazon Pay) in a secure way.
